3.Sigulda Top Sights & Wine Tasting

Leave Riga by minivan for Sigulda’s castles, Gauja Bridge, Gutman’s Cave, and Turaida Castle. Add a candlelit wine tasting in a sandstone cave for 15 EUR, or walk through Ligatne with your guide. English-speaking guide Mara leads private and small-group outings.

“We ended up getting a private tour with Mara, as no one else booked, and she was a fantastic guide! She shared about her life in Latvia, showed us some must-see stops, and entertained us with some local stories. The place we stopped to get pastries for lunch was so cute and the sweet and savory pastries were delicious. She also shared two amazing recommendations for dinner and rooftop drinks in Riga after she dropped us back off! It was a great first day in Latvia and made our experience walking around old town the next day even more valuable with the little tidbits she had shared.”
